Two people who I don't know who they are are trying to talk to me on Skype...I'm just ignoring it.

Someone friended me today...and then unfriended me a few hours later. Obviously read some of the fic... *coughs* icon *coughs* : )

Yesterday, I saw a man BUYING MINCE PIES! It's SEPTEMBER!! What the actual fuck.

I have now watched every single episode of Midsomer Murders. Notable moments - Orlando Bloom buying it, talking about figging, priest doing the exorcizamus te, aaaaaaall the incest, all the vicars/priests being gay - everyone knowing and nobody caring, the sprechen hunde, the Brighton ep, S7, 8, 9 being fairly awful but S10 onwards definitely getting a lot better (bodes well, I thought), unexpectedly ending up in floods of tears when John Nettles character retired.

Also caught up on Doctor Who. I'm liking it. Laughing so much! The scripts are very very funny! But, also the teaser for the next one scared the shit out of me! I'm afraid of the dark so I will be watching that one on a lunchtime, I think : ) x

I buy mince pies in June :P we never used to be able to in Holland BUT for a little while now we have a big store in The Hague and so I have been going nuts lol. crumpets! scones! clotted cream! salt&vinegar chips! stickey toffee pudding! YUMMMMMMM! :P

All the other stuff is more than acceptable (esp the sticky toffee pudding! Yum!) but mince pies are for xmas ONLY! Every year the xmas stuff starts creeping into the shops a little earlier...it's so weird.

When I come over, you must send me a shopping list and I'll bring you some things : ) x

The people that set up their tree in November are THE WORST though!! :P oh god!

It's insane! The kids have only just gone back to school ffs! And it's still 20degrees. I'm not ready for Xmas to be a thing xx

Me neither, I won't be ready until two days before or something, then I'll accept it, but until then. Nope, not going there.

Netflix has at least two more seasons of Midsomer, with the new cousin Barnaby, who I actually quite like, and his schoolmistress wife, whom I also like, and their dog, who is suitably doggy when called for and absent when not, as your teevee dogs tend to be.

I'm waiting with barely contained anticipation for the next season of Endeavor, and am muttering dire imprecations under my breath that they haven't released at least two to three seasons of Inspector Lewis yet.

Although I'm fond of and admire Capaldi quite a lot, I will take up Doctor Who again when he transforms into a woman, a POC, or both.

I really liked the cousin too, I wasn't expecting to. And I really enjoyed the relationship with his wife. I did enjoy the stuff with Joyce and Cully but I really liked their dynamic a lot.
Also Sykes. Best dog actor ever!

Oooo thank you for reminding me about Endeavour! I saw the first series...and it was soooo good, but it haven't watched the rest yet. It's going to the top of my list : )

I wasn't sure I was going to like Capaldi, esp as he's been in both DW and Torchwood before, but I think they're going to incorporate those appearances into the storyline by the looks of it and I'm liking the new grumpy persona. It'll happen eventually although it's a bummer as Alex Kingston would have been my first choice for the Doctor. They're usually pretty good with casting so I expect they're just waiting for the right woman to come along x

*is laughing* I read your post and after cheering *\o/* YAY! for you getting your commission posted, I was trying to figure out why someone buying mince pies in September would be such a big deal. Yep, that culture shock caught me out again *headdesk* I was imagining beef mince pies - I bought some in the shopping this week, for easy dinners, lol. But it wasn't until I read your answer to June's comment that I realised you meant fruit-mince pies, and now all is clear LOL.

ugh. I sent you (what I have, yes it leaves off in the middle of a sentence) what I have (i.e., 10k of jibberish masquerading as a fic, only because it has words in the document now).

Unfortunately it's fairly serious. It doesn't need ninjas, but I definitely need some help with taking it somewhere to a decent resolution that's not 100k out.
