Just brilliant...

Just saw a BBC news headline on the website - what does rosemary do to your brain?

My first thought was, whatever the fuck she wants! Don't mess with her, you'll just make it harder on yourself. I think maybe I should read some fic about bunnies or something for a bit.

Also, this morning I managed to gash a fucking hole in the bottom of my foot. It bled like a mother but it seems to be okay now and I can walk on it okay. I was wondering though, what's the best way to get blood out of a carpet. The thing was pouring for a bit and it's everywhere : (

Oh and Lily's being super sweet about it and coming up and sniffing it gently everytime she goes by! It's the cutest : ) xx

Ii would get a toothbrush I wasn't using anymore, put a bit of dish soap on it, tap on the stain with the brush and then pat off the residue. The main point is not to use warm/hot water. But maybe there's a better way? I'm not really a pro at cleaning :P

Awww! sweet <3<3 I'm glad the wound has stopped bleeding. Take care to keep it clean so it doesn't get infected. That would be the worst :P

Club soda will bubble a lot of it up so you can use folded paper towels to blot it dry. Use a small cup and pour directly on the spot (s), then blot dry. If it's a pale beige or white rug, hydrogen peroxide will make the residue foam and tell you where to pat or clean further. It'll strip or yellow the color though, if the rug is colored.

Also, how up to date is your tetanus protection? Nicked my foot on a carpet tack once and it blew up overnight like a mofo. Boo shot, yay no dying of tetanus!

A spot-remover I've tried with good results on clothes is equal parts liquid dish soap and hydrogen peroxide. With a toothbrush (or even just with fingers) rub it in well, blot with a towel, and then wash as normal. Worked okay on carpet (just be sure to rinse otherwise the soaped area gets sticky).

Ouch - you take care of that foot , and yes, Tetanus shot might be a good idea.

Take care of yourself and especially your foot first!

Cold water immediately is the way to go, but it's too late for that.
