I just found out someone I thought was a really nice, genuine, hard-working writer is not only a plagarist, but actually plagerized one of my favourite fanfic authors.

It's making me feel sick that I've been duped by this person, but also I'm feeling really fucking insecure about my fanfic right now. I'm torn between leaving it up for you guys, and wanting to protect myself by taking it all down.

Mostly, I'm just really fucking angry about the whole thing. The only saving grace is that the publisher was informed just after it was released, took it down and refunded people's money.

Muthafuckers...wine with lunch today, I think.

Three things!

1. I'm trying to post a bit more and that's going okay, but if you missed it, there's a new comm called amilliondays, set up in response to the shit-fest that is 2016, and inspired by the 100 Days of Happiness meme that's going around. People have been cross posting their happy thoughts there, but just to be awkward, I've just been posting random things that have made me smile. I could cross post to here but...nah. ii Tomorrow I'm been asked to do some sort of Facebook author chat event thingy to help with someone's book launch...I've no idea what the fuck is going on as usual.
Anyway, I have to turn up and talk about stuff, and do a giveaway, apparently?
I figured that I could giveaway a paperback copy of Home Is Where You Are as they're available now with some other swag type stuff, but I have to ask a question for people to win it. I've no clue what sort of thing to ask so if y'all have any bright ideas, prompt me bitches.
I'll drop a post here tomorrow when it's on so you can pop by if the mood takes you : )

My writing mojo is weak right now so situational prompts using the J's from Sunday Maybe Monday, Gazes Into You, Stumble Forward, Dot the 'i', or Teenchesters would be lovely. Feel free to suggest anything you like. I might not use it but it might get some idea growing in my head. If there's room...otherwise it'll be manips again : )

Excited about my WIP!! Getting some reference images together to make a planning sheet as I think there's maybe another book after this one, and I'm going to attempt to plan ahead for a change.

The crazy times are almost over!

Visitors leaving tomorrow and TWRBB to post, then I'm just back to the regular mad rush work stuff...which I can handle...for two weeks or so.

Then...well, we'll have to see... But I'm pretty sure that's the light at the end, not a train, if you catch my metaphor.

Just quickly though...so many huge and wonderful thanks to all the people reading and commenting on my bb! The response has been crazy positive so far so thank you so much for that if I haven't replied to your comment yet. I will...eventually : )

BUT ALSO...

I'm up to do SMPC this week and I'm all out of fic ideas.
So if you have any prompts for a down and dirty, quick 2k Sam/Dean or J2 fic, let me have 'em, ladies! My muse is tired so I need stuff she can pick through til she falls in love. I got something! Thank you for all the suggestions : )

I finished my tax return this morning! So, now I'm anticipating the arrival of the Math Police any second to throw me in the slammer for not being able to add up right, and for claiming £3.70 for a bus ticket even though it's so faded it's only just legible, and what the hell do I think I'm doing, including double sided tape that I could be using for anything...

I may be slightly paranoid.

So, I mermaided myself while I wait for them to arrive.
