Three things!

1. I'm trying to post a bit more and that's going okay, but if you missed it, there's a new comm called amilliondays, set up in response to the shit-fest that is 2016, and inspired by the 100 Days of Happiness meme that's going around. People have been cross posting their happy thoughts there, but just to be awkward, I've just been posting random things that have made me smile. I could cross post to here but...nah. Come on over and share the love yourselves!

ii Tomorrow I'm been asked to do some sort of Facebook author chat event thingy to help with someone's book launch...I've no idea what the fuck is going on as usual.
Anyway, I have to turn up and talk about stuff, and do a giveaway, apparently?
I figured that I could giveaway a paperback copy of Home Is Where You Are as they're available now with some other swag type stuff, but I have to ask a question for people to win it. I've no clue what sort of thing to ask so if y'all have any bright ideas, prompt me bitches.
I'll drop a post here tomorrow when it's on so you can pop by if the mood takes you : )

My writing mojo is weak right now so situational prompts using the J's from Sunday Maybe Monday, Gazes Into You, Stumble Forward, Dot the 'i', or Teenchesters would be lovely. It's now 5.45am and now I'm sleepy ffs! I've only managed to answer about 50 messages and comments, and commented on a tiny fraction of the love meme. I'm so slow! Also starving. Breaking out the bacon and eggs before the dog gets up : )

I think it's okay but I've been up all night so I don't trust myself at all ♥ xx

So, I've realised I've made a major mistake in my WIP. I initially made Jared an ex-NFL player and football scout, coz *shrugs* whatever.

NOW, I realise this was a horrible mistake.

I really don't like American Football. I don't like the way it's played, I don't like the uniforms, I don't like the whole attitude that goes with it. It's just not my thing.

So trying to research it over the last week, is making me unhappy.

HOWEVER, I do like...baseball. I like the history, I like the uniforms, I get the rules and the whole excitement behind it. I used to play softball so I have a little muscle memory too of stepping up to bat and praying you don't make an ass of yourself, and the relief of crossing home plate. I know very little about America's favorite pastime but getting to research that would be a joy. I've promised myself that the next time I come to the US that I will make sure I get to go to a game and experience the whole sitting in the stands thing : )

SO, I think I'm going to have to retcon. Majorly retcon.

But how should I do that? I was just going to say a thing at the start of the next chapter, but then should I go back and edit the previous parts to change all the football references? Or should I leave it? But then it would be less confusing to new readers, but is that okay to do?

IDK.

Either way, I think Jared was a pitcher, probably a closer.

And baseball is sexy : ) x

It's 2.30 am. I should really go to bed, but there's chocolate next to me and it keeps finding it's way into my mouth. (Darlin', I can hear your eyerolling from way over here : )

Anyway, I'm so close to getting my stuff done!. I just have to finish my minibang art contribution and complete my podficbigbang in the next five days and then everything should calm down a little : )

But I wanted to very quickly squee about my RBB writers!!!

heroic_downfall snapped up my winged boys and her fic idea is just delish!

visticuffs was very brave and grabbed my Gil/Osric pic and I'm so excited about her take on it!

And finally, if you didn't know already, the insanely talented ephermeralk, ended up with my Stripper Fireman!Sam. The poor thing is going to have to write porn, and threesomes and...well, I don't know how she's going to stand it. Poor baby. I said I'd paint her some graphic dp...I hope it'll make up for some of the hardship ; )

Anyway, I'm starting to pass out so...that

I don't know if anyone else is watching Elementary but that last ep...I think Rhys Ifans is a fine, fine actor but he is so profoundly unattractive I just don't get it. Also not suave. I think it's adorable when his welsh accent shows through though.


My neighbours music has been pounding bass up through the floor since midnight. It's 9.30am and I think I'm developing PTSD. I'm very tempted to call the police and tell them I spotted them dealing drugs to minors just to get them to shut the fuck up.

I appear to have neglected to go to bed.
