Readers Notes: This is one of my most favourite fics but in 4,600 words there are only nine full stops so I'm really hoping that it translates okay to the audio format.

ygrawn is a new author to me, I just recced her in my journal a couple of months or so ago, like FLIST@&#^% who is this and why have I never read her before? I'm delighted about your podfic. I'll add it to my 871hrs and counting but move it to the top of the line of course. Can't wait to listen.

I'm terrible at remembering fics and authors names. I've no idea how I got to this, it was probably through spnstoryfinders as I read a lot of stuff through them. I think I have read some other works of hers, she is fab and this fic is just so awesome, I read it quite often to remind myself that I need to try harder! I love the poetical thing but the story is beautiful too. I just wanna hug it and keep it and tell it I love it, forever *sighs*

My memory list is private mostly because it's an absolute mess! : ) I've started trying to add every thing I read to my Delicious account –> link on my sidebar –> but that is everything, even the stuff I read and don't like so yeah, equally a mess!

If you like this though you'll probably like ash-carpenters Sandcastles in the Surf if you haven't read it already. That's similarly dreamy and beautiful and just crushes me with how good it is. I'd love to record that but I'm too nervous to ask her. She already thinks I'm a crazy stalker! x

I did a podfic exchange last year and my person went into my memories to see what I like, it seem so obvious a thing to do and I was like *GASP*, omg... you did WHAT???? I mean I don't lock them up, but it's a shit storm of a mess, where I incedentally hide my really really really nasty stuff I like to read (on occasion) under things like puppies and rainbows, lol...the same way I hid my porn at home in a file marked TAXES. It was like, ugh, you now know EVERYTHING about me.

I have read Sandcastles...recently even, you should just ask, you voice is so amazing and it I find fangirls don't frown on crazy stalking :)

I'm pretty shameless about what I read. Given what I write, I figure people will actually be more surprised that I like highschool AU's and coffeeshop J2's.

It was ash that got me into fanfic proper and she got me writing too. The first thing I wrote was a sort of sequel to one of her fics and she was so amazingly generous about the whole thing. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for her. So the stalking is not unfounded! : ) I'm super nervous about asking anyone to record their stuff. I might do it one day , if I can pluck up the courage : ) x

I just listened to this! OMG! Honey, you have a fabulous voice!♥ You lulled me into the world these characters were inhabiting and allowed me to see, hear, and feel it through them. Beautiful story, beautiful skilled writing, and beautiful reading. After your comment about the scarcity of full stops, the pace of the reading was dreamy and rhythmic and suited the tone of the story perfectly.

I LOOOOVE this story, it utterly blew my mind when I first read and still does even now. I love the depiction of the boys but also how John is just helpless, carried along out of guilt and his love for them. It's just brilliant. I was so happy when she said I could record it : ) It took me a while to figure out the phrasing so I'm really glad that worked : )

The bit about the headboard and John trying not to think about it...but it's Sam ...oh, just kills me...and Sam telling people 'thats my Dean' *whimpers* and Dean not even thinking that a normal life is an option *sobs*...oh fuck, all of it, every word! It's all gorgeous and insanely hot...I might have to go read it again : ) x

Thank you so much for reading and sharing this amazing story, I'm sitting here in tears it was just so fecking beautiful and moving! Little Sam telling people 'that's my Dean' just slayed me and the whole relationship between Sam and Dean was so well- written. John's loneliness was so sad too. You read it really well and having looked at how the fic is set up with a l those long paragraphs, you did a fantastic job! I've left her some feedback but I noticed she hasn't updated her LJ since 2012.

Thanks again for introducing me to what is going to be one of my favourite SPN stories.

I remember when I first read it, I felt like I was going into shock! It's just so perfect. There are so many perfect, perfect phrases in it the beloved and much put-upon shape of Dean who seems immoveable Just, OMFG! It's totally become my headcanon too. I always thought that Bobby knew but the idea that John did...makes so much sense.

I'm so glad you listened and liked the story. I feel like everyone should read this so they can fall in love with it : ) x

Her language is amazing , I loved Sam and John rotating around Dean and Sam being a zealot.. I love, the way she described Sam shaving Dean - steady hands Sammy - and Dean's grief when Sam went to Stanford. I can totally believe this all happened off-screen! I'm getting misty eyed again!
