"Are things that easy where you come from?"

"You make it sound like I drive a UFO."

Steve nods seriously. "You're definitely from another planet."

In the fic, Steve is an artist so I went with a traditional pencil drawing for the main piece.




I quite liked the idea of a photographed title card...





...and I did a quick digital thing of one of the paintings Steve makes at the end of the fic.

Gorgeous art, hon. I really, really ADORE the blue pic...that's just mesmerising. I could stare at that all day; the swirls are stunning. I love the gif too - so cute - I still have no idea how you guys do that, lol. and obviously I love the main pic...pencil drawings are my fav I think.

So...question - is the photographed title card a drawing stylised as a photo or did you actually write on a couple of napkins, get a cookie and take a photo? I honestly can't tell with you amazing artists anymore. I've been staring at it for the last five minutes trying to work out if it's a photo or just one of your amazing drawings, lol.

Thank you, Hunny!! I did the blue pic at the last minute coz I ran out of time but I think it's okay. I was so happy with the way the main pic turned out...I've got it up on my wall : )

The photographed thing is a photograph but I did tweak it a bit in photoshop so it probably does look a little not right because of that. I managed to take two pics, one with the cookie covering up my name and one with the cookie covering Ashley's name (ffs) so I had to merge them a bit, and ended up changing the contrast and whatnot...

Oh no no no...I just meant coz your pics are always so realistic I can never tell the difference between your pics and photos. It doesn't look 'not right' at all - it looks great, and I LOVE the idea of using photos as well as drawings for fic art...really cool. LOL...naughty cookies...hehehe ;-)

I don't know why I hadn't thought of it before...I think it kinda works though especially given the context of the story. And I had to put the cookie in! There's a whole bakery thing going on in the fic so I i>had to buy cookies! Its the law : ) xx

I don't know why I really wanted to draw them like this, I think the scene in the fic where they sit on the step is kind sad and angsty...but yeah, smiling is nice : )

I wouldn't say this is my main Marvel ship but I love Ashleys story so much (I'm a fluff addict : ) and I was sooo glad I got her : )

I'm glad it looks okay. I feel like I rushed it a bit coz I ran out of time, but she liked it too so that's the main thing.
