It's a shoujo manga from way back when, with a cursed family who turn into the chinese zodiac when they are touched by opposite sex. plenty of homoerotic moments (although I think everyone ended up being straight, but there was one very strongly implied threesome), but I loved Kyou, the Cat, who was feisty and temperamental, and oh look, my perfect sort of bottom...
so since it was from... gee... must be the early 2000's and it was a romance/comedy aimed at teenage girls the yaoi fanfic with my chosen dynamics is light on the ground.
at least I have other shows to get my fix from :-)
