Week One
So, Fangirls taking the Identifying the Dead course...how is it going?!
I had to whip through this first week, as I'm off away doing...stuff...this weekend, but I thought it was kinda fun and interesting so far.
It follows the format of other MOOC's I've done, with mostly looking at videos and the occasional worksheet (which I just did in my head), and the super simple test at the end, so that was good. I feel like I had an advantage with the skeletal stuff, having studied anatomy for life drawing, so I hope we get some more in depth anatomical information.
I thought there was some really interesting stuff about identity, and about surface remains being usually an accident or natural causes (note to self - don't bury anyone).
What do you think so far? Any bits that you thought were helpful, or unhelpful? Are you saving it for the weekend and have any worries/questions?
If you didn't sign up to it, you might still be able to, go see!
