Adam Glass nailed it.
Awesome ep, lovely bit of backstory that felt authentic, though hate the fact that John was such a douche even though it was clearly something he would do.

Dylan Everett killed it.

I'm really hoping everyone who was bitching about the casting choked on that performance coz it was just stellar! He had the mannerism and more importantly the attitude down. Christ, he even managed the OPT at the end!! I hope we get to see more of him 'cause he was really good.

Blake Gibbons was fab but that's coz he's Blake Gibbons...even with the pornstache.

And how traumatic was it that Dean burnt up the toy that Timmy's mother who died in a fire right in front of him! Sometimes I think Dean is on commission with the American Psychiatric Association.

So great story, great acting and then the bit at the end when Sam thanks Dean for having his back...suddenly I'm crying!
Because (well, in my head) Sam knows Dean so well, he knows he wanted to stay there and that the reason he didn't stay was for Sam...Waah!

Things I forgot -

- the whole 14/16 thing. Maybe Dean just lied about his age? And if it was changed from the original script, can we please not blame the writers for that stuff. Not Adam's fault.

- didn't mention the fab special effect at the end which was amazing and really reminded me of effect at the end of Roadkill, in terms of a visual really provoking an emotion that I think would be hard to get from dialogue)

I liked last weeks ep but this feels like the first one that we're back on track. I'll probably feel differently about them all on the second viewing but I'm a happy bunny.
