17th Dec: tifaching - What is your dream vacation?

I actually have no idea.

The last vacation I had was about 5 years ago. My mom paid for me to go to the swanky bit of Majorca with her, my two aunts and (thank god, at the last minute) my cousin. It was a sit-around-the-pool-sunbathing type thing, which I thought I would hate but actually I loved it! It was hot. I love hot. And my cousin and I bonded a bit over lots and lots of alcohol and generally bad behaviour, which was nice : )

Really I think being somewhere hot, where I can lie around all day in the sun like a lizard and swim (in a pool not the sea...I don't want fish to touch me...it's a thing), go for nice long walks and look at scenery and stuff, and then spend the evening eating and drinking and generally having a relaxing time with no deadlines or stress.

But in the hot. And also lots of sex. Obviously : )

Or to go somewhere with some interesting architecture or art museums or something, like New York or Paris or Barcelona and do lots of exploring and taking photographs and finding cute little cafes to eat, and spend hours in bookshops and stuff. Maybe in the autumn when there's a chill in the air and it's more condusive to walking.

And also lots of sex. Obviously : )

Interesting enough the first thing that popped into my head was the pic big_heart_june posted weeks ago. The one with the huge bed in front of the window and all the snow outside? Secluded, quiet...

Other than that, I can't name a specific vacation. If I would win the lottery I would travel EVERYWHERE!!

I very much like the ongoing theme I'm seeing to all these holidays. ;-). No, seriously, though, I've always wanted to go to New York too - maybe at Christmas when it's snowing (even though I generally hate the cold) coz I think that would be beautiful. Also, nothing wrong with being a sunbed lizard every once in a while...
