31st Dec: big_heart_june - got any special plans?


Well, last year I had the best time because I spent it with you all! There was booze and silliness and it was just wonderful being with everyone despite that we were all in different timezones, so that was lovely.

I've always kinda hate New Year (it make me maudlin also see video) but I have to say here, wandering down to the beach at midnight, with everyone wrapped up warm, sitting around campfires or wandering about wishing each other Happy New Year, and then setting off fireworks at midnight, that you can see happening for miles around the coastline...that's really nice. Not dog-friendly so I've had to pass the last three years but, yeah, really nice.

This year though I fear I maybe boozeless, plus feeling super tired all the time right now so my plan is to stay up as long as I can but I expect I shall lame it and fall asleep far too soon.

Dammit, I'm just getting the second hiccups of the day! That sucks!

Whenever I get hiccups, I think about that girl who had them for seven years or something and then she went skiing in the Alps or something high altitude related and they just stopped. How weird would that be?
