Day 2
In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts.
Ummmm....
1. I guess...I'm going to change my journal theme – I can't take the emojis of extraordinary size anymore – so a new banner would be nice, with the boys and Dylan and Tyler...and some Dark Tower stuff...or something.
2. If someone can persuade Funko to make a Derek bobble head, that would be nice. I think him and Phil would look so nice together : )
3. Art for any of my fics, like title cards or whatever for those that don't have one. IDK...anything like that.
Day 03
In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator.
Oh Lordy...
1. It sounds bizarre I know but...Space Alpacas - I'm stupidly proud of this fic. It's so far out of my comfort zone. I don't write creature fic or sci-fi, but I'm so happy with the way this came out. I've half a mind to write some mad epic 200k version of this, I love it so much...although maybe without the alpaca complication (how the hell do they build spaceships with hooves!? IDEK!)
2. No Burden - I think the prompt was 'bruised knees' or something, so ended up with a hurt/comfort that I really enjoyed writing and I think is one of my best SPN fics. The brothers being brothers, but being in love too. I don't really write in present tense so this was a bit of a challenge.
3. I Stumble Forward -
My baby. My first. Not really my best – I think Gazes Into You is much better – but this one was a true labor of love.
4. The Grave - A poem written when S9 had the boys stifling in the bunker and seemingly withdrawing from each other. I don't get the poetry urge very often (and mad props to fannishliss for most of the heavy lifting with the structure) so I'm super proud of how this turned out.

Date: 2016-01-05 12:46 am (UTC)I adore I Stumble Forward and I think because it's your baby, it works so well. It can be so difficult not to be protective of your creation. *nudges* Especially in the beta'ing phase ;P
