So, the novel is out being looked at by folk who know a thing or two more about post-civil war stuff than I've picked up from Wikipedia and a couple of episodes of Little House on the Prairie. And I managed to sell something so I can pay for a professional proof-reader \0/ so all being well, this puppy should be out in a couple of weeks : )

Here is my blurb.

If you have any feedback – esp. con-crit – I'd love to hear it. I know that 'finished is better than perfect' but I'm trying to get it mostly right.

This, I love..."Without a mate - a family, a pack - a wolf has no home. But what if home finds you?"

Three suggestions:
- Paragraph 3 has two "that"s in it. I wonder if deleting the second one would sound better and the horrors of war he endured.
- Although, as isn't an easy flow. How about As the weeks pass, it sounds more definite.
- It seems that is vague, plus there's another of those pesky "that"s. I think it's safe to be adamant about Jacob having a plan. How about starting that last paragraph with Jacob has an agenda. It doesn't spoil anything, in fact I think it adds to the intrigue and the desire to learn what the agenda is.

I love it, I really do, I think this sums up the story perfectly and would drag me in if I'd never read it before! As it is I am dying to get my hands on a copy for my bookshelves of joy :D xx

Sorry I'm late to the party, has been kinda offline for the last couple of days. Concrit you got from wings, I'd say no more...

And I'd love to read the story after that summary! I guess all the fanfics with happy endings actually classifies as Romance, right? And this is a masterpiece of that genre, at least in my opinion! (Romance that is!) Aaand it includes the favorite trope of mine! Kudos for that! (Even though I think I already told you that!)

Gonna dld the e-book to my tablet when it's published! (and see if I can find any typos... hehe!) Even a professional can miss something, right?!
