Looking to get some reviews on Amazon (US and UK) and Goodreads for 'Tis the Season. I have 28 copies to give away.
27k - 81 pages - festive romance - second chances - contemporary

So far the feedback has been great, but books live and die with reviews--and I'm talking quantity not quality very often. Give me a three-star, one word review on anything I write and I'll be a very happy bunny--and right now this is dying (poor little book) So I'm on a review drive!




Aaron has spent the past ten months alone. When he meets a sad, yet strangely familiar man on a cold Halloween night, he impulsively invites him home. But the intimate connection they share lasts only until morning. Aaron wakes up alone—wracked with guilt and devastated to have lost his chance.

Thanksgiving brings Aaron another shot at happiness, but letting go of an old love and accepting a new one isn’t as easy as everyone keeps telling him. And by the time Christmas Eve rolls around, it becomes clear that Aaron’s not the only one struggling to let himself love again.

Christmas miracles are all well and good, but it’s going to take more than the Holiday Spirit for Aaron to get his happy ever after.

LOL! Speaking of, was I allowed to say whatsit copy, I did for Wings, it's just I haven't bought the kindle version yet but wanted to review so didn't want it looking like I was just a 'friend' reviewing xx

Oh the whole Amazon ARC thing is just *hands* but yeah, there was a really interesting article recently about the new guide lines which said this -

"And [reviews that have been deleted by Amazon] seem to be the ones that say “I got this book free in exchange for an honest review.” Even though that’s basically the wording that Amazon has encouraged authors and reviewers to use over the past few years.
A friend of mine, Lena Mae Hill, got a response back from Amazon and was told: “Book authors and publishers may continue to provide free or discounted copies of their books to readers, as long as the author or publisher does not require a review in exchange or attempt to influence the review.”
So it’s fine to give copies of books or ARCs away as long as you don’t require a review in exchange. Jennetta Penner recommends language like “I received an ARC at no cost from the author” – so you might want to ask your readers to stop using the word “exchange” in book reviews.''

Amazon are a bunch of tossers, seriously. Allow people to sell other author's fanfiction as books but won't allow legit reviews?! xx

Hi Alex! I saw your book postcards on Milly's page. :D

I'd love to read your book. I'm not sure what I should do? I have a kindle..... Sorry to be so slow. I'd love to leave a review for you, the premise looks great!!

Do I have to use the same amazon account to leave a review as you send the ebook to?? I don't even know???
