GISHWHES at The Bunker

The Women of Letters are looking to do GISHWHES this year and are putting together a team.
The original post about it is here if you want to read it, and another post has gone out, the gist of which is below.


Okay, so currently, we have six members for our Bunker team: brightly_lit , septembers_coda and her tech friend, alexisjane , blackrabbit42 , and cuddyclothes . I'd love to get to a full 15, which is not that far off.

Some of us will be more motivated than others, but that's fine with me; is that fine with everyone else? The only point really is to have fun. :-)

So if you know of anyone in RL or around here on lj who you think would be enthusiastic and have fun with all this stuff, send 'em to this post to express their interest! (Also, any o' you who missed the first GISHWHES post who are interested in joining the Bunker team, say so here!)

Anyone who wants can continue to suggest name ideas for our Bunker team (which now has a guy on it, so 'Bunker Babes' might--but only MIGHT--be out ;-) ), and when we have everyone we're gonna get, we'll make a poll and vote.



Come and sign up! It'll be fun/really embarrassing...but in a good way.

The team I was on last year, TeamAwesome, currently only has about 8 members. I wonder if we should do a merge... We had so much fun last year so I highly recommend participating.

Ooh, that could be cool. We currently have 7, but 2 more have expressed interest, so I'd like to wait until we've heard from them. If they don't decide to join, or with dropouts, this might work out perfectly! Maybe we can see where things stand in a few days and decide then ...? In fact, feel free to drop in at spn_bunker and make the suggestion there. I'd love to make some new friends, just as long as the focus is on the fun of GISHWHES! (I know there are people who can get pretty intense about winning.)

Yes, let's give it a few days. We're a low key team just in it for the fun. I'm just having a hard time getting people to commit to actually signing up this year. Beginning of August is a busy time.

Regardless of whether we team up or not, it will be abnosome and I wish everyone a fabulous time! <3
