I have an icky cold...it's making me fuzzy headed. Add to which the fact I'm away for the weekend with limited wifi and it's a miracle that I got my first choice in the artist claims for the sdmb. I think it probably helped bypass the technical snafu that messed up a few peoples claims...by dumb luck rather than design. I'm really looking forward to working on this. I think I might try something a little different : ) it's actually a little frustrating that I'm away til Monday as I kinda wanna start NOW!

On the flip side, my story still hasn't been claimed : ( To be fair, I feel like I'm in good company, there are some stellar summaries up there that are still waiting so I don't feel too bad about it. Especially being that I'm not sure how interesting mine sounds.

Either way, lemsip and chocolate brownies are in order : ) x

It seems to be better during the day and gets worse as the day goes on...stupid cold. I still feel better than yesterday though : )

There are a few things about mine that I can see why it's not anyone's first choice but I'm not too worried : )

Yes! She has bought all the cake and so many treats and even a bunch of medicine too : ) she even put up with me blathering on about claims too. She's a good person : )

I'm still waiting to be claimed as well, but I too feel better when I see how many stories are still there. I always dream of being claimed right away, but it has never happened, but I've had a great artist each time.

Awwwwwww, I'm sorry you're feeling under the weather, brownies WILL help. They help anything, I don't know about a lemsip? (is that somekind of hot lemon water tea situation?) I'm sure it's fabulous. I'm so excited to see what you do with your sdmb. I'm NOT dwelling on the fact that I had a really fab idea sketched out for it and that stupid tech "snafu" let you snatch my first choice right out from under me *G*,NOPE NOT DWELLING!!! lol...the fact that you and I wanted the same mental hospital twisted schizo Sam story came a ZERO surprise to me, it's so us. The fact that it went to you was the only thing that kept me sane this morning..... ANYHoo, after much humming and hawing , I picked the other messed up dark twisted story and am THRILLED to be working with the writer that I have. #5 "Your childern will come at you with knives", I couldn't resist the title.

Oh god, what do you guys do without lemsip! It is basically lemon and Tylenol (from what I can gather) but it's really really comforting : ) I'm convinced I can't get over a cold without it : ) or brownies...brownies are essential : ) xxx

So far I think I'm entering the stage of less fuzzyheadedness and more actual symptoms which is better for me I think. I rather have the sore throat : )

Thank you for the lemsip and brownies! I led on my friends sofa all weekend in my PJs and actually feel a lot better for it. I haven't needed a lemsip today...til now. The sore throat is creeping back in : ( but it's not too bad at all really : )
