OH NO!! I missed off a stitch...on Sam's hair...dammit, I checked like a thousand times too, lol.

Oh, and I'm really not very clever. I didn't design the boys on this - I bought the pattern from Etsy - I just designed the words, lol...the easy bit. No, I'm not skilled enough to design something like this...I just think the boys are pretty cute in cross stitch! ;-)

And yes! Very clever! I've done needlework and this is so fucking neat, Darling! All the stitches have the same size and tension...that's hard to do! And the words are not easy! It's really fantastic and I was so happy and surprised when I got it...and I still am!!

I'm so paranoid I'm gonna ruin it. I'm going to go to the craft store next week and see if I can get a Perspex coaster/box thingy to protect it. It's so nice I want to keep it on my desk but I just know I'll spill something on it : )

You know there's a site...I'll see if I can find the link tomorrow...but you can upload any photo and it makes a cross stitch pattern for you. You choose the number of colors you want to use and it just works it out. It's awesome!

Oh wow, that sounds awesome. There is a loose technique I know where you superimpose the pic onto the template grid - that's meant to work pretty well too. I should try it with the impala since I haven't seen any I particularly like of her yet. :-)
