So I had a day off...which apparently involves me drawing for two hours, painting in Ps for three and then editing the video of me painting for another three. Mmmm, relaxing : )


A couple of people mentioned speed videos, so I did that. If it's interesting, I shall do some more : )

It is, I think its okay, I'm glad, and why were you still up! Debates are good but not at two in the morning. I hope you got some sleep. I didnot because dogs are assholes and mine thinks I need to be awake to tend to her at all times. I'm thinking of trading her in for a turtle.

It's over at amberdreams's LJ about the latest (!) school shooting in the US and the way gun policy and advocacy is and isn't affected by them. And I developed VERY.STRONG.FEELINGS...

Thankfully my baby is too lazy to wake anyone up when it's dark out and she could be sleeping. She even gets cranky if you wake her up for no reason.

I just saw it and commented. Yeah, I think it's weird for us, as Europeans have such a different experience with firearms.

Yes! I mean, I spend some time in the US and I have my own experience with guns so I think I'm in a better position than many to wrap my head around some of the argument, but it still baffles me to the core that you can look at all the accidents and shit that happens and not think, 'oh, so if they didn't have a gun they could should people/children with, the conflict would still have happened but chances are, nobody would be dead or maimed, how about that.'

She's five years old now, I think from here on out, she's only going to get sleepier. *g*

Loved watching the entire picture unfold and to see how awesome you are at shading and blending. If I made a video it would consist of hours of me hitting undo over and over again. I find it really difficult. Plus, I would never have the patience to edit a video or have the first clue how to make one, lol! Thanks so much for sharing it with us, I love watching how people work, it's fascinating. I left a comment over on youtube too :)

I'm very happy you took the day off from writing and spent it on drawing instead. Even though it still takes a lot of concentration, writing is such a different process. You were definitely close to burning out with your writing and you probably would have ended up completely frustrated. Sometimes you just have to step away and do something else.

I'm being terribly naughty and instead of writing my RBB I'm reading a fab fic that has me engrossed. I'm still hurting and exhausted after my camping so I'm giving myself a big pass. The pain is totally worth it, I had a great time. :D
