Today is Brightly_Lit's Birthday!



When I first came to fandom and LJ only a few months ago, it was kind of a scary place for me. brightly_lit has been so fantastic and supportive and unyielding in her generosity and enthusiasm...it has meant the world to me. Not only as the founder of the snuggly-ist comm in the world, spn_bunker and as our Benevolent Overlord over on tricycleman but first and foremost as an amazing writer of meta-based fic that makes my heart ache it's so good.

So Happy Birthday, Darlin'.

A Real Angel is one of the first stories I read on LJ and it really stuck with me. It meant a lot for so many reasons...

Anyway...the real thing is on it's way to you but you need something to have on the day. There's a nice big file in your inbox for you too with a HQ version too.

I've been so fretting about it! I'm glad you like it...especially as the actual thing should be arriving in a couple of days (praying it gets there in one piece!)
This story meant so much to me and as soon as I read it, this image popped in my head so I really wanted to paint it for you.
I'm sorry you've been having such a tough time. Hopefully now, with a new year you will have some loveliness coming your way.

HOW IS IT THAT I HAVE NOT COMMENTED ON THIS YET? Oh, how I love it. I love it! Down to the hair you created for the OFC, the AMAZING background, and... CAS!! He is so himself here. It's nice to be reminded of this wonderful little fic, too. She said so much with so few words... just what was necessary. The painting (it's a painting, right? What medium do you use? SO CURIOUS.) is just SO. MUCH. and so perfect; together they are a most lovely and complete perfection. <3
