Oh my lordy...so close. I have to be done tomorrow with this commission before she sues my ass...I can't wait to think about something else!  Anyway...I was going to wait til I was done but...well...wine...

10 fannish things that no-one knows about me...stolen from everyone : )

1. I wear Dean's ring and I have the possession symbol and quote from BtVS tattoos.





2. The fic that got me into the fandom was Mile High Club by merihn. I'd happened upon LJ and read some things but when I read this...I don't know...there was something about it. It was sweet and hot and I ended up reading everything of hers and when I was done I checked her flist and that's how I got to ash_carpenter's journal. You know the rest from there : )

3. Since 9.23, I've only managed to watch one episode of SPN, Yellow Fever. I'm still upset.

4. My favorite SPN quote, which I find is the perfect balance of horrifying and so funny..."Yes! It's me. Lilith!" *clings to it*

5. I get so overly invested in fictional characters that I stop watching shows because I just can't stand it...House, Dexter, Millennium, X-Files, Hannibal, etc, etc. Sometimes I deliberately watch shows knowing they've been cancelled in the first season (Life, Raines, The Unusuals, The Dresden Files) so that I know I'll make it to the end : /

6. To my knowledge I have watched every single episode of Murder, She Wrote, including the Magnum PI crossover. I have an idea for a pitch to relaunch the series but I'm too scared to write it.

7. I own all but the three latest Stephen King books, including the pop-up version of The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, but I haven't read them all. But that's because I've read The Stand about 12 times.

8. I think Jared is just...well. I think Jensen is the perfect guy. But I would marry Ty Ollson in a heartbeat.

9. I used to be able to recite the Exorcizamus Te (long form from Jus in Bello) by heart but I've forgotten most of it. I need to practice.

10. Okay...desperate and the wine is kicking in...my son really really looks like Jared Padalecki...like a lot...with the hair and everything...although he's only 6'2"...and NO I'm not sending any of you perverts pictures! We don't talk about it.

yesterday I saw someone in credits with the name Cabot. I said, I like that...but....Cabot Cove. Wendy was like ????? :) LOL I don't know how she instantly didn't know Cabot Cove?
Did I know you were a Stephen King fan? Did you know I live up in King country? Like down the road from him? He has a big creepy goth house with bats and gargoyles on his fence. This does not surprise you does it.
I will not talk about #10, I'm resisting, but barely. My son is 6'4", I guess that's why I'm never impressed with Jared and his giantness.

Kid!Lilith is just wonderful! She so sweet but so creepy but without the awkwardness of some of the kid actors, I thought. And that bit...the way she says it like he might have forgotten who she is...just cracks me up but totally freaks me out at the same time...kinda sums up the show for me.

OMG you must sit her down and make her watch them all immediately so it gets seared on her brain! I love Angela Lansbury but also all the star spotting. I think my favorite is the Jim Caviezel one. He's awesome in it. Better than Clooney.

Ooooooo, I'm totally going to be crashing your couch, should I ever find myself in the vicinity, in that case : ) I think it's kinda cool that he plays up to the image like that : ) I bet there's some cheesy King tour isn't there around Bangor of all the places he mentions? Gonna have to do that..and visit the Field of Screams too : )

I feel the same as you about not posting pics of our kids - I have toyed with the idea of putting my son's band webpage on here but it's too much of a crossover between RL and LJ - some things just shouldn't meet!

I haven't heard from her, but then I'm so behind with keeping up with everyone : / I'm hoping that as school starts soon she'll be back with us then. I just hope she's okay.

I try not to make myself to identifiable but if someone was determined they could totally find out who I am...not that I'm really hiding...it's just if a client found out it might be awkward. But putting his picture up...I think it would be too weird. He'd probably be cool with it but I think it's a bit odd. Freaks me out when my rl friends perv on him, I can't handle you guys doing it as well! : ) x

I do worry about my son finding his way onto my LJ account, he knows I spend a lot of time on it and that I write but I would be mortified if he read one of my more porny fics! I'm not surprised you freak out when your friends perv on him, no matter how tall he gets he's still your little boy!

Oh my son knows I write slash so he wouldn't have the slightest inclination to read anything of mine. He thinks me being a fangirl is horribly tacky and passé : ) Thankfully : )

My favorite thing was the terrible awful murders and trauma...but always always the maniacal laughter to freeze frame at the end! When you're power-discing it actually becomes quite sinister after a while! : )
