So sorry, my bb's, I know I have a ton of messages to respond to but the meds are making me sleep my life away at the moment. I've been asleep most of today and I can hardly stay awake so I'm off to bed. Don't forget I love your faces. I hope the Majestic Flipflaps go some way to making up for me being Rip Van Winkle. Haha, that makes me think of me and kinkajou petting ray's at the tropicarium when we met. They are so smooth and wonderful to pet!

We have some at the SeaLife Centre here but I'm not sure we're allowed to pet tem...coz poisonous and all. I'd love to though : ) x

The local aquarium here also has a petting pool with small (non deadly) version of these. Petting is awesome!

I didn't know they did the flying thing! I guess most fish do but it's so cool that they flap like they think they really might take off : ) I get freaked out by how truly huge they can be...sea stuff is weird x

Aren't they lovely! You're so lucky to have seen them in the wild. I've only seen small ones in a tank and it's really kinda sad.

Well, I am awake now! but being up at 3am wasn't really the plan...thankfully Lily doesn't want to get up yet though so I don't have to face the sub-zero temperature yet : )

Oh you poor thing, it's not fun feeling so tired and having to sleep all the time. Thanks for taking the time to share this wonderful post, the flipflaps look so happy! I saw flying fish once and it was just surreal!

I think I feel tired coz I keep sleeping if that makes sense. I just keep dropping off...except now when I should be asleep...could be worse I guess, not being able to sleep at all is brutal.

Aren't the flipflaps lovely! I've seen just regular fish jumping out of the wwater, which is so cool, so I imagine flying fish must be mind blowing! Maybe I should put that on my bucketlist : ) x

I know exactly what you mean, as when I was first diagnosed I was quite depressed I kept sleeping - naps during the day etc - and the more I did it the more I needed it! I hope you manage to work out a better sleeping pattern soon x

It was off the coast of Lanzarote we saw the flying fish, most amazing thing ever! And off the coast of Tenerife we saw Beluga whales (that was on my bucket list!) and dolphins - although I'd seen dolphins in the distance before, these ones were diving under the boat and swimming alongside, really having fun, a glorious sight!

I'm not sure anyone needs to sleep that much though. Imma try and stay awake through today at least and try to get something resembling a sleep pattern back.

Flipflaps are the best! Got up at 8.30 this morning. ended up napping between 12 and 2. What is up with that!? I think I'm hibernating. Definitely hibernating : ) x
