Dude, I love the UST, I don't hate it. He got toppy toward the end. I'm just saying. It's a preference thing. It has nothing to do with the amazing writing although I do read fic where Sam or Jared occasionally bottoms. But Sam or Jared has to top like 90% of the time and he HAS TO BE AN ALPHA-MALE personality. Then it makes it okay. Sam was definitely not the alpha-male in the relationship here.

I know but it didn't even really occur to me that Sam was bottoming, like when Sam is the one pinning him and when Sam grabs Deans hair and makes the first move, that seemed pretty top to me. Although my preference is for them to switch so I guess it fits with that more. I guess he's not Alpha right now but it felt like it wouldn't take long for him to become one and Dean would be almost relieved for that to happen.
