Sometimes it seems that even with our best intentions, Fandom (and our preoccupation with the sexy times) occasionally leaks into our Real Lives causing concern and consternation amongst our friends and making us question our own sanity. This is the place where you can make amends.
In the comments below, confess your slip ups, misunderstandings and mishearings.

If you've slapped someone for asking you to work out their kinks, not realising they were just asking for a shoulder rub, if you've accidentally called someone "Chad" because they were being a dick, or if the sight of your mother roughly stuffing a chicken has caused you to have to lock yourself in the bathroom til you stopped blushing, this is the place for you to confess.

Not because it will make you feel any better, just so we can all have a damn good laugh about what dorks we are.
Because we are all dorks, let's face it.

So this week I'm looking after my friend's dog who I can only describe as 'rambunctious'.
Yesterday we were out and he was being particularly disobedient and I swear I was just about to call him "Harley" before I realised what I was doing!

I have been reading a lot of J2 and his name isn't dissimilar but I wanted to slap my self! x

Well, I don't think I was the only person in the room whose mind went there, by any means, but I'll never forget the time my mum described a punch-up she'd witnessed by saying, "...and there were these two blokes outside, fisting."

I think I pulled a muscle laughing at that! I'm going to try my best in the future to always replaces the word 'fighting' with 'fisting' in conversation. Bless her! I'm kinda hoping she did it on purpose! x

This is primarily the church of Jensen although I love the idea of starting a religion based on spn. If Hubbard can do it...: )

I do live in fear of the devout, though. Every time I'm doing the Sunday Worship Post I get worried that someones going to get me banned so I'd be concerned about offending anyone. I was having kittens about starting the Confessional.

I do very much love the idea of the church of free will though : ) Do you think we could get away with it? Festivus Ha! x

Aww ... well, I understand your fear, but I think in a fandom where canon portrays angels as dicks, you're probably pretty safe. But it's just as fun on your journal, anyway. ;-) (And I love the Confessional! Do people get to confess something different every week?)

Yes, I thought I'd just do the one Confessional post and link to it every week although thinking about it...maybe I could do a com for that save it getting to squished up. And I was thinking about making some fannish icons. AND I had some vague plan about writing the episodes like biblical verse at some point...fuck it. Yeah I'm probably going to do the church thing...

I cannot hear the word 'pudding' without smirking;
My son hasn't watched the show since Season 7 as my obsession with Jensen has made him 'uncomfortable'(!!);
I have watched the clips of Dean and Anna/Cassie/Lisa/and the Amazon chick, also Jensen in 'that scene' from Devour,so many times I'm surprised my DVD player and laptop haven't conked out;
Watching SPN has led me to reading fanfic, then m/m slash and now I'm actually watching gay porn too - it's like falling down a rabbit hole into a whole new kinky, perverted and fecking amazing universe!

For preventing your son from watching the show, say five 'There ain't no me if there ain't no you's and perform two fics of contrition.

my wife works with families in their homes in a professional and confidential sort of way, she is the one that always has the "SPN moments" that she can't contain. She once was with a family that was arguing about getting their little boys haircut when the dad yelled out, "he's starting to look like Sam Winchester" (I believe he somehow meant this in a bad way?) LOL

Recently saw a family with a new baby they named Dean after and I quote "Dean motherfucking Winchester", of course she gasped in both shock and glee and then just has to play it off like "oh, nothing"

A word of warning, Devour is basically a really bad horror only
watchable because Jensen is the lead and he's excellent as always. There's a certain part when he makes happy noises that would make a lesbian straight or a staight man gay!

I was talking about TV with a new colleague and I asked him what he watches, and he said "Super-" and I thought, hallelujah, I finally have someone IRL who watches Show, and he's gay so we'll squee about the boys and bicker about who's cuter and I was SO HAPPY for that fraction of a second and it turns out he was talking about Super Fun Night or something like that. I was crushed.
