They're making an effort now to get to know each other which is good...but I hate my ex with such vitriol I have to stay completely out of it. I've tried to stay as neutral as poss with my son about it but it's so unacceptable when they just run out like that. The small boy will be fine though...there might be tricky bits but kids are more resilient than we give them credit for.
