Make Merry

I made this earlier to wish you all a Merry Whateveryou'recelebrating.

It's not actually snowing here, everything is under about six inches of mud and fallen
trees from the bad weather we've been having but I thought a dog covered in mud wasn't
quite as festive as one wearing a Steve Jobs jumper : )

Turns out the least Xmassy thing of all though are chocolate Brownies.
My dog ate three.
She is now in the hospital for Xmas eve and potentially tomorrow too.
And spending the rent money I managed to scrape together for January.

And when I look at that beautiful face it's all worth it.

Season's Greetings! LOL, love the picture! It looks really cold.

Hope your baby is okay. Sucks that she's stuck in the hospital for the holiday. Is she very sick?

I had a dog once who ate a whole pan of brownies. She had chocolate coming out of both ends for a while, thankfully I work for a vet and lived upstairs at the time, so into a run she went for a day or two. She didn't need vet care though. Other than the digestive upset she was fine.

Now that I need the oversharing tag as well, I'll just say...hope she feels better and that you have a wonderful holiday. :)

I love her in that jumper and she hates it so she only has to wear it when it's very cold.

I think she's going to be fine, she just needs to have her heart monitored. She's a rescue and seriously tough. Still cried like a baby though when I left her (me, not her) although after that graphic 'both ends' image I have in my head now, I'm really glad she's there and not here!

Ahh...the joys of owning a dog, hm? Mine got his tooth caught on a fence this time last year and it completely sheered off just at the root. Emergency vet bills for tooth extraction (anesthesia/medications etc) for a 135lb not...not the best Xmas present ever.

Hope you're manage to have somewhat of a decent Christmas, regardless! There's lots of good fic to help you out! Two of my favorite authors posted yesterday, so if you haven't read "Snowed-in" by Sonofabiscuit77 or "Slip the Mask" by Minchout, they both blew me away into a drooling mess on my couch!

Who knew three brownies could cost £300($450)! I really hope they were fucking delicious!
Don't get me started on dental...my insurance doesn't cover that so I'm so paranoid about it. Poor boy, I hope he was okay.

I don't normally do Christmas but we were supposed to be going to a friends tomorrow and she goes the whole hog so even now I'm looking forward to it. She's bought us Chrismassyy jumpers and everything!

Thank you for the recs! They will keep me distracted til I can get my girl home.

I called the vet and they said she's doing fine. She such a naughty girl, she should have no presents tomorrow!

Monster is right : )
She's all fine and home safe and sound, just have to monitor her for the next 12 hours but they seemed to think there'd be no problems.
She's being extra adorable to make up for it.
