Okay...I think I've sufficiently recovered enough from 9.23 that I can start thinking about looking at things SPN again without bursting into tears and I want to start my watch through (Hellatus I usually start from the beginning...I know, I know but it wasn't such an mission in the days waiting for S4...now *gulps* I can do it, I can) BUT as always my brain is making life way more complicated than it needs to be.

Because I need screencaps for art refs, and because I need research for my MiniBang, and because I need shots for a vid, and because I want to write a meta thing about John, I figure this time I need to make some notes and stuff as I watch...except I'm not quite sure how to organise that or how to even begin to start to organise that. So I'm just not doing it. And I need to. Time is short and stuff like I need to watch the whole of S1 before I can start on my MiniBang makes it kinda urgent.

So if you have any organizational tips or just wanna give me a good 'ole kick in ass, I know you love that kinda thing ; )

And how do you keep track of your images or vid clips? Or are there any cool online resources for this sort of stuff that you've come across that help? I'm always amazed how some of you can just pull an image out of the air when it would take me twenty minutes just to find the right folder on my desktop.

Anyway...that's it really. Imma go vacuum now : ) x

Daily RLBIVOB - Pretty and NSFW

There have been revelations over a RLBIVOB in the last few days. Ones that made me so happy like

golden_cyborg saying she thinks she's only 2/5 of the way through this story, and then others that make me want to punch certain characters in the face...repeatedly...with a crowbar. Either way, I think everyone seems to be liking the comm so far. Let us know if you would to see any other types of posts or stuff. In a few weeks we are thinking about doing an Ask The Author event so keep your eyes peeled for that and start thinking up some interesting questions.

In addition, if you feel like pimping the comm, do! We have banners. Hastily cobbled together banners by me but banners none the less. Codes are under the cut but if you should feel like putting together something that's a little fancier, do it and share it and post it on the comm so we can all revel in it.

I wanted to post this yesterday but I was feeling so awful last night, I could not finish it in time, so apologies for the tardiness.
Anyway...

To celebrate the fictional-imaginary boyfriend's birthday this year I decided to try the Apple-Pie Burrito from

justinedelarge's fic, Sure Got A Dirty Mouth and watch Porky's 2, the film Dean would like most to live in.

Dean and I have a lot in common. Our love of food, especially pie, is one of those things. So when I read about the pie burrito that Sam makes for Dean in SGaDM, I was needless to say, very excited. The lovely author sent me instructions and if ever there was a day to try them out, it was yesterday.

Easy and really, seriously, delicious! I will totally be making this again. In fact, I'd make one now if I had more apples!

Review of Porky's 2

I have to say I wasn't really looking forward to watching this but I did, partly as I promised the WoL over at spn_bunker that I would for the files but also because Dean and I do have very similar tastes in movies and if he likes it, then there's a good chance I would like it.

There was a lot of discussion of why, of all the movies in existence, why would Dean pick this as the one he would choose to live in if he had the chance and why Porky's 2, why not Porky's?

( Actually...I get it. )
